Band 8B / 8C - Banding depending on experience

The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust (PAT) currently runs four hospitals; North Manchester General, The Royal Oldham, Fairfield General Hospital in Bury, and Rochdale Infirmary. To support the delivery of improved care and patient experience, NHSI has confirmed a long term solution for PAT hospital services and the management and ownership of the hospitals.  The changes will help secure services across the communities of Oldham, Bury, Rochdale and North Manchester and ensure investment and long-term clinical and financial sustainability for NHS staff, patients and their families.

To facilitate these changes formal acquisition of the constituent parts of Pennine Acute will be required. This process will be underpinned by detailed due diligence which will require the provision of significant volumes of information and data covering every aspect of the Trust.  The Pennine Data Room will be responsible for providing this information and for ensuring its accuracy.

The Head of Data Room will lead the establishment of the independent clean data room and be responsible for its successful delivery during the formal acquisition programme. The Head of Data Room will develop systems and processes to gather, manage, quality assure and govern the provision of complex and sensitive data which meets the needs of the programme, in line with stringent timescales.  The Head of Data Room will lead a small team of analysts covering diverse disciplines.

Ideally, you will possess previous NHS transaction and due diligence experience with an understanding of the roles of all stakeholders involved in a successful process. You will have exceptional project management skills, be a confident negotiator and communicator and be able to inspire confidence and build relationships within and across organisations.  You will be equally comfortable managing the big picture of the programme and personally dealing with and processing the detail of individual data requests.  You will be able to motivate and manage the team, some of whom will be directly managed, others will be part of a matrix model.

If you are applying for this post as a secondment please ensure you have approval from your current line manager prior to applying.
