Ward I6 is looking to recruit band 5 staff Nurses to join an enthusiastic team committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our patients. This is a Female/Male Acute respiratory ward based on our North Manchester General Hospital site.

Newly qualified 1st NMC payment
Education opportunities within respiratory
Acute illness management
Competent at obtaining blood gas samples
Understanding blood gas readings
Chest drain management
None Invasive Ventilation (NIV)
I6 cares for many respiratory disciplines such as COPD, Asthma, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis and Lung Cancer.
Previous nurses who've worked on this ward have gone on to roles such as Palliative care nursing, diabetic link nursing and other nursing specialities along with higher band progression.
