Ward I6 is looking to recruit band 5 staff Nurses to join an enthusiastic team committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our patients. This is a Female/Male Acute respiratory ward based on our North Manchester General Hospital site.

 Newly qualified 1st NMC payment
 Perceptorpship programme
 Education opportunities within respiratory

 Tracheostomy care
 Acute illness management
 Catheterisation (Male)
 Cannulation /Venepuncture
 Ng insertion
 Competent at obtaining blood gas samples
 Understanding blood gas readings
 Chest drain management
 None Invasive Ventilation (NIV)

I6 cares for many respiratory disciplines such as COPD, Asthma, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis and Lung Cancer.
Previous nurses who've worked on this ward have gone on to roles such as Palliative care nursing, diabetic link nursing and other nursing specialities along with higher band progression.

You will be welcomed by a management team who are keen to see their people succeed and enjoy their roles. This ward allows opportunity to not only deliver a high standard of patient care but also gives you the chance to work towards developing your own skills in the best way for you.
