We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Cardiology Directorate based in the Clinical Audit Department.
Your main activities will centre on providing support to health care professionals undertaking clinical audit activity within the Cardiology Directorate, and will necessitate you having to organise and manage a varied workload.
In order to meet this challenging role you will need an understanding of the basis concept of clinical audit and quality initiatives within the NHS. Your main duties will involve collection, collation and analysis of data from a variety of sources.
You will be educated to ‘A’ level standard (or equivalent) with good verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Access and Word.
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
