Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

An excellent opportunity to join the busy department of Undergraduate Medical Education which delivers the teaching programme (MBChB) to University of Manchester Medical Students from Year 3 until they graduate at the end of Year 5.

You will be responsible for setting up the teaching rooms and resources for all teaching and provide a reception service for Undergraduate Medical Education ensuring that medical students and all users are provided with excellent customer service and the necessary help and support.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that the IT and AV equipment is fit for purpose and that they are set up for teaching and securely stored when not in use. In addition, you will provide administrative support to the education coordinators and cover absences as required.

This post offers interesting and varied work and requires a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook and excellent communication skills.

The post is 25 hours per week 9am – 2pm – 5 days per week – some flexibility will be required to cover departmental needs.

It must be noted that the Undergraduate Medical Education curriculum is subject to change and it may result in the post-holder taking on additional responsibility and the role evolving to meet the needs of the department.

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership.
