Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

Join us and be part of something bigger.

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust have embarked on an exciting collaboration to create a new Health and Social Care Group - The Northern Care Alliance. The Northern Care Alliance brings together five local hospitals to deliver high quality care:-

  • Bury & Rochdale – Including Fairfield General Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary and Integrated Community Services.
  • Salford Royal (which includes the Integrated Care Organisation)
  • The Royal Oldham Hospital
  • North Manchester (which includes Integrated Community Services)

The Northern Care Alliance brings together a workforce of over 17,000, meaning we are one of the largest NHS organization’s in the country. We pride ourselves on our pioneering services and people centred care and are looking for dedicated individuals to join us in who want to make a difference. Working with us, due to our size and geographical reach, you will have access to a wealth of career opportunities and teams dedicated to supporting, inspiring and motivating you in your chosen career path.

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust has one of the strongest track records of providing excellent patient care services, financial delivery and staff satisfaction in the NHS. The Trust became only the second NHS Trust in the country and the first in the North of England to be rated outstanding by The Care Quality Commission. The Trust is consistently rated as one of the best places to work in the NHS and here are just a few of the reasons why:

  • Leading Major Trauma Centre for Greater Manchester
  • Recent investment of £200 million to develop our main hospital site
  • We are major teaching hospital for the Universities of Salford & Manchester
  • Our clear vision to become the safest organisation in the NHS
  • Largest Dermatology Centre in Europe
