Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

Earlier this year we launched the Northern Care Alliance. Two large NHS providers encompassing five local hospitals providing specialist and acute services, a range of community and adult social care services, and employing over 17,000 staff from Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust (PAT) came together to create one of the largest NHS healthcare organisations in Greater Manchester and the North West.   The Northern Care Alliances is an exciting opportunity to join a new NHS Group arrangement to help to serve a population of over 1 million.

Owing to the promotion of the current head of service, we require a new Head of Financial Planning and Reporting to continue to lead the delivery of very high quality financial services to the organisation.

We are looking for a high-performing individual who has the experience, passion and the drive to work in a large, complex and evolving organisation to provide the highest quality information, advice and support whilst developing and maintaining excellent working relationships both within and outside the organisation.

You must be an experienced and qualified accountant with extensive and in depth knowledge and experience of financial planning and reporting including evidence of developing innovative systems and practices. Excellent communication and influencing skills and analytical and problem solving skills are also essential.

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership. However, as members of ethnicity minority  groups and individuals with disabilities are currently under-represented at this level of post, we would encourage applications from members of these groups.  Appointment will be based on merit alone.
