Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated doctor who wishes to acquire experience within a Medical Specialty at an Outstanding Trust.

We’re looking for 4 doctors to join our growing team for 12 months – with the scope to extend beyond this.

You would be based in any of the following services, based on your interests and our service requirements:
- Cardiology
- Respiratory
- Gastro
- Endocrinology

You will be an integral part of the Medical Team at Salford Royal working alongside an experienced team of Consultants and Junior Staff. The post will involve inpatient management and outpatient management within a relatively flexible job plan.

Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust are working together under the leadership of Chief Executive, Sir David Dalton to establish a Group model where local NHS organisations will share a governance framework to reduce variations in clinical practice, accelerate improvements in patient outcomes and also improve productivity.

This provides exciting opportunities for collaborative working, to work efficiently, grow our capacity and improve quality.

The post duration is initially for 12 months and is potentially renewable.

Full or Limited GMC registration is essential.

In line with the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme we welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnic origin, disability, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, religion, marital status, social back ground or trade union membership. However, as members of ethnicity minority groups and individuals with disabilities are currently under-represented at this level of post, we would encourage applications from members of these groups. Appointment will be based on merit alone.
