Join us and be part of something bigger.

We have paved the way for excellence in Integrated Care and in July 2016 took the  pioneering step to form one of the first Integrated Care Organisations.  We now provide adult social care services alongside our established healthcare services, which has given us the chance to develop better, more joined up ways of working that deliver improved outcomes for the local community.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 radiographer to join the imaging team at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.

Salford Royal is a University Teaching Trust that aims to be the safest organisation in the NHS through providing safe, clean and personal care to every patient, every time.

Salford Royal is an Outstanding Trust – the first Trust in the North of England to achieve the highest rating given by the Care Quality Commission and we want you to become part of this.

We are looking for highly motivated, dynamic and pro-active radiographers to take up a permanent band 5 position.

Working in a challenging trauma, orthopaedic and neuro environment, there will be an opportunity to develop skills in General imaging. We currently have over 70 Radiographers working in our Trust and we have an extensive range of modalities including DR, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, Lithotripsy, DEXA, interventional angiography and all aspects of general and fluoroscopic radiography. We also have an O-arm, which is used in complex spinal surgery.

An exciting new development within the Trust, of a brand new Trauma Centre is also currently underway, which will incorporate a large trauma unit, integrated theatres and radiology department.

Salford Royal has a comprehensive and structured preceptorship program for all new starters and there is an opportunity to advance through the Band 5/6 progression pathway for those wishing to expand their career.

CPD and Radiographer role extension is actively encouraged and supported in Radiology, examples being: MSK, CT Head, upper GI reporting, salpingography and fluoroscopy swallow lists.

Applications are invited from experienced radiographers or student radiographers seeking their first post.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive team of radiographers and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
