Ward C2 is a 20 bedded Hyper Acute Neuro Rehabilitation ward. The nursing team work closely alongside the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that patients are supported through their rehabilitation. C2 is a SCAPE accredited ward achieved through the Salford Royal Nursing Assessment and Accreditation System

Nursing staff will develop skills such as caring for patients with tracheostomies and supporting complex discharge planning.
You will need to be able to:-
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills;
• Aspire to deliver excellent standards of care ;
• Be able to work collaboratively with all members of the MDT.
• Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients and their relatives

Newly qualified nurses will also benefit from our 12 month preceptorship programme supported by our dedicated Practice Development Team. You will also receive support from our senior nursing team and highly specialised nurses.

If you are a newly qualified nurse we will pay your first year's NMC registration fee as well as paying you at Band 4 until you receive you NMC PIN.
